Peter's Comments:
These days, I'm back to writing simple piano pieces as part of my piano instruction. For this one, I was supposed to use the song "More" (which is, I am told, from Mondo Care and has very, very vacuous lyrics) as a launching-off point for my own composition.

Not entirely pleased with the result. Someday I will get good enough to play something other than droning block chords in the left hand, and someday I will have more interesting things to say harmonically on the piano -- but not, I think, today. Still, there are cute melodic bits that I can cannibalize later (especially the little triadic themelet in the 'chorus'), and the ubiquitous syncopation is kind of fun.

I imagine we'll see more piano stuff in the future. Got to keep at it, if I'm going to get any better....
