I Don't Get the Blues

Peter's Comments:
Believe it or not, this started as my first attempt at writing a swing song. That didn't happen because:

• Gigastudio doesn't work on my machine (surprise surprise) so no decent drums
• I ran out of time (as usual), and
• Writing swing is hard, and requires, y'know, actually knowing stuff.

Anyway, my efforts quickly morphed into another standard guitar + whiny/wussy vocals track that actually isn't too terribly disappointing. Bits of the verse seem ripped off from "Courage" from the Tragically Hip. The whole structure seems like a rehash of "Because". But it's an okay song of the week, for what it is.

<shrug> At worst, chalk it up to another learning experience.
