Hmm. Well, this one is not entirely crap, meaning I like the weird ten-second "yeah, yeah, yeah" break towards the end.

The rest of it is kind of 'ew,' basically because I'm writing a song that I can't get behind at all. I mean, when I find myself rejected, I definitely don't go running back into the buzzsaw; I usually wander off and go talk to somebody who actually likes talking to me. So coughing up these lyrics was icky, and hearing it now, all I can think is "Lies! Lies! Lies!"

Nothing harmonically or melodically interesting here -- just the same major-chord rut I've been stuck in for a month or two. Just picked up a good book about John Lennon's songs, though, so I'll see if I can plunder anything out of that. Maybe it'll move me in a more interesting, blues-based direction. That would be nice....
