Sweet! Another change of pace, as my brother and cousin (that would be two separate people; yes, I'm from Kentucky, but no, my family tree is not particularly confusing) sent me an instrumental to try adding some vocals to. This is the result!

This is deliberate homage to my cousin's late, great, and future garage band, The Dry Heaves. (For the uninitiated, I recommend their songs Spoo, Heave'n on the Lamb, and, of course, the classic Needle in My Nose (Ouch).) True, nobody but the 'Heaves themselves can capture their B-52's-meets-Devo aesthetic, but I thought I'd give it a try. There's a pre-Song-of-the-Week attempt to imitate the 'Heaves here.

I've sent the original vocal .WAVs back to my brother, so I guess the interesting part will be to see how they mix together this song.
