Peter's Comments:
<sigh> So this is what happens when I'm on autopilot -- more sensitive-boyish drivel. Basically, this week was pretty exhausting, and by Sunday night I really didn't want to do anything besides plant myself on the futon and watch DVDs until I fell asleep. At first I wanted to do this song as a Squeeze-like song; obviously that didn't work out, although some of the non-me-like chord changes are probably an offshoot of that. So, for this week, I'm going to try to learn a bunch of Squeeze songs on guitar, and see if I can have another go at it some time later. Hey, there's always next week!
