Peter's Comments:
This one is interesting because of how it was recorded. My brother and my cousin have built a little home studio in Louisville, Kentucky, and (in order to test out some equipment) they recorded an instrumental track, and sent me a copy. For no other reason than I decided it would be neat, I quickly wrote some lyrics and added a vocal track. FWIW, singing that song wasn't as painful as it sounds.
