Skit Structure

Scene starts seriously and engaging, nervous guy on date with hottie. Audience should sympathize with guy, want him to win. Girl isn't evil, just typical, asks him to fix one tiny technical thing, he agrees, and The Troll Mountain King appears with all her other enslaved dates and begins to sing the Rankin/Bass Tolkienesque Dirge of the Networking Troll

Why is this skit funny?

Things become increasingly bad for the victim until it turns all operatic or musical. Flogging geeks is funny.

What do we want it to accomplish?

Illustrate the emasculating effect of relying/dumping on men to fix small appliances, the computer, the car, install phone lines, assemble things, etc. Show how the natural urge of being a helpful guy inadvertently fucks over the technical class.
