This is where we can put ideas for the show that don't belong with any of the other pages.

Characters

• A small-time lawyer, a la Cliff McCormack

• The wildly-corrupt mayor and his long-suffering security person.

  • (In a perfect world I'd convince Lampe and Kareem to play these two parts.)
  • Generally the security fellow has to do what the mayor says and cover up the mayor's shenanigans.1
  • For the Mayor: think "OMG Falstaff is running the city; god help us all."
  • How to keep it from getting too negative?
• Tangential scene: one member of the Goth couple, at the record shop, talks to the proprietor about "I think I might not really be Goth". Together they explore alternative genres of music.

• I like the idea of a motivational speaker.

  • I think this is the guy (or girl) who sets Ted off on his quest.
  • I also think at some point he should talk his way out of getting shot.
• Lenny, the nuclear-plant employee who really does try very hard to not screw up.

• The reality show "I Won't Eat That!"
• The visiting musician.
• The ninjas.
• The loose elephant.
• The rampaging Korean-language class.
• Dakota and Tyler, the aspiring musical-theater actors slaving in the IT mines.

Mayor: I need a Mexican hooker!
Kareem: No.
Mayor: No -- I need two Mexican hookers!
Kareem: Still no.
Mayor: And also -- and this is key -- some kind of harness -- (gestures vaguely)
Kareem: I hate my job.
Mayor: (not quite hearing) What?
Kareem: I said, "That's fascinating." Please, sir, tell me more.
